SamplePad

Privacy Policy

Draft. This policy is awaiting review and isn’t final yet. Details marked “TBD” (data controller, effective date) will be filled in before SamplePad is released.

Effective date: TBD (#59) · Applies to: SamplePad 1.0 for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website.

The short version

SamplePad doesn’t collect, store or share any personal data. There’s no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The sounds you import and the boards you build stay on your device.

What stays on your device

What we don’t do

Backups and Apple services

If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, your device may include SamplePad’s data in that backup. That is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, not by us. If you share crash reports with developers in your device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash data with us; it contains no personal content.

Deleting your data

Delete a pad or a board in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device.

This website

samplepad.app doesn’t use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers, and has no forms. Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers), processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages securely; it isn’t used to identify you. If you email us, we use your message only to answer it.

Children

SamplePad doesn’t collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Future features

A later, optional SamplePad for Teams subscription may offer accounts and cloud storage. If we add features that process personal data, we’ll update this policy before they launch, explain what is collected and why, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The free app will keep working without an account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
